Arcadia Accountancy was formed by Matthew Dampier and is focused on offering excellent customer service to individuals and businesses when dealing with their accounting needs.
Matthew has been active in the business and accounting community since 2000 and has built vast experience in the individual and SME sector. Matthew started working for a leading regional firm of accountants where he spent almost 8 years building his accountancy knowledge before heading off to work for a National accountancy practice. Follow a year working for this practice, Matthew was given opportunity to return to his home town of Shepton Mallet to become the manager of the small business section of another leading regional accountancy practice. Matthew remained with the practice building his skills and knowledge and building a wealth of experience and contacts within the business community. Finally Matthew decided that he was well placed to form Arcadia Accountancy Limited and offer his own tailored services and knowledge to the business community.
Matthew is an active member of the local business community and has been the chairman of Wells Chamber of Commerce and Tourism from 2013 to 2015.
